Playing both in its title the meaning of the words 'ballade' et 'balade' this joint project of CDs and DVDs (dual disc) consists of the musical documentary Laura Beldiman and Jean-Philippe Raymond entitled « The Island of Light » Dominique Probst (52 '/ Hibou Production) and a monograph on the composer during his 40 year career. It offers a variety of instrumental scores, vocal and orchestral (secular or sacred) staggered 1972-2012 that reflect the work of an endearing musician of our time not so enough recorded on CD, outside its opera composed Maximilian Kolbe libretto by Eugène Ionesco (Orphée d'Or 1991 of the National Academy of Lyrique CD, the best price Massenet initiative honoring a french composer / Cybelia recording reissued in 2009 by Integral Classic).

« Eclectic composer born in Paris in 1954, Dominique Probst develops since four decades a rich and varied body of musical works which blends happily on the same wavelength, classical music and popular languages of today.
